| Anna Paquin, a New Zealand-Canadian actress and film theater actor, is most well-known for her roles in films such as The PianoFly Away from Home as well as X-Men. Her first foray into the world of acting at the age of 11 when she appeared in The Piano for which she was awarded the Oscar Award for best actress as a support role. She had not planned to make it as an actress, however fate chose to change her mind. Many of the requests she was presented with following her film's debut's success in order to pursue her education.
