Srushti deshmukh, in her third year in engineering she has begun to prepare for UPSC. She wondered if engineering was an appropriate career path for her. Then she realized the dream job she wanted was within the civil service, and she started to focus on it. Her parents encouraged her to concentrate on civils, and find a job serving the public. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was focused on that goal. In order for UPSC to be a reality the hard work of a lifetime is required. She would study her engineering classes and study for UPSC while also studying other subjects. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. She was able to pass the engineering exams in just one and a half months and avoided social life and all social media sites. She believes that focusing solely on what needs to be done is the key to passing this exam. She put in a lot of effort to reach her aim to pass the test on her first attempt. To keep up to date with current affairs her routine was to go through papers. Also, she got lots of support online by collecting studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote a book that was called, The Answer Writing Manual. The book is available in each library of all states in the country. It is a great resource especially for IAS students who are preparing rigorously to take the IAS exam.
